Fair

Over the weekend we loaded all 4 and went to the Summit County Fair. I haven't been there in years, we normally go to the Portage County Fair. I now know why. I swear it was a white trash fest. Knocked up 12 yr olds spitting chew and smoking. Oh it was bad. We couldn't even walk though the place without walking through a huge cloud of cigarette smoke. Needless to say we didn't stay long. Just long enough to walk in the barns take a peek at the animals and let Delaney ride a few rides.

First off Ryan came nose to nose with a pig. That pigs nose was the size of Ry's entire face. They were having a stare down and wouldn't take their eyes off each other, they were about 4" away from each other. I couldn't get my camera out because Delaney was freaking out. She thought Ry was gonna get swine flu from sniffing the pig.

Dylan could care less of the whole thing. Ava had a melt down imagine that. With her sensory issues, she gets overwhelmed pretty easy.

Delaney got to ride a pony. During the ride she begged Greg to buy her a horse. (ha ha, keep dreaming baby) She also rode her 1st big girl ride. She has always loved the Ferris wheel, but Greg hates heights so I get to take her. Which is fine by me because I love heights and rides! While we were on the Ferris wheel Delaney saw a ride she just had to ride. It was like the power tower at Cedar Point. It takes you up real high then drops you. I love those rides. So we went. I was however really nervous about Delaney riding it for 2 reasons.
#1 She had to pee, but we were already in line and had waited awhile, so I told her to hold it.
#2 The operator never checked our belts or the harness.
I was reaching over tugging on it, just to make sure she was in. Half way up the ride I realized Delaney could very easily wiggle her way out of the seat if she wanted. That I think was one of the scariest moments of my life. Just the thought made me sick. Well we made it down fine, and she didn't pee, Thank God! I don't think she gets to ride anymore of these for long time. She announced to everyone that the ride was "Totally Awesome" to which I replied, "Totally" I will never tell her I that i was scared Sh*tless!

Delaney riding a horse named Donte.

Believe it or not, Delaney & I are on that thing.

There we are. #11 & 12. Never again, can you see her leaning through that thing?!

This post made me laugh. We were just visiting family who live in Summit county and everything you said about white trash was so apparent...not all of the area, but a lot. Hope you're hanging in there (re: the "losing it" post).
