busy busy

So I guess I forgot I had a blog. Sorry for not sending updates. We have been so busy around here the last few weeks. I can't believe how fast summer went, and it was never really warm. That stinks. Maybe next year.
Ok on with the updates.
Delaney, my lil baby girl is starting Kindergarten TOMORROW. Can you believe it? I can't. I have been crying my eyes out. I just can't believe she is really old enough to go to school. She was just born for Pete's sake. So tomorrow it is. I told her I was going to take her, she told me I could follow the bus, because I'll I'm going to do is cry and take a million pictures....I guess she's right, but I'm still taking her. I'm sure there will be a thousand pictures come tomorrow.
After I take Delaney to Kindergarten, I have a meeting at a school the babies are going to be going to. They will see all their therapists there and be able to work on their issues more. The only problem is the school only has 2 full time openings. Which means since Ava & Ryan need the most, they will go M-F, 7:30-5:30. Dylan will go Monday and Friday only 7:30-5:30. As of now I guess Greg's mom and Dad will watch Dylan Tues, wed & Th until they have an opening.
I guess your wondering why all of a sudden I have decided to go ahead and let them go. Well for 2 reasons.
#1. They need more help then I can give them here. They are doing very well, but with their sensory issues and such, it would be better for them in that type of enviroment. I feel a bit defeated, like I can't give them what they need, but I know it's for the best. I want them to grow and be able to normal kids. I know with being born 16 wks early, everything they are going through is very common, but I just want them to have the best etc.
#2 I finally did it. I enrolled in school. After 10 yrs, I finally did it. I always wanted to go for Cosmetology, then I changed my mind and wanted to go for Nursing. Well I'm reaching 30 and feel like I have accomplished nothing, So I HAVE to do something. Since Greg is laid off, now it the time. I would love to go for nursing but I do think that would put me over the edge. SO I am headed to beauty school. I start Sept 14th. I am so excited. Then after the trips go to Kindergarten, I may go back for nursing. I'll save that for my next mid-life crisis. lol.
It's weird how after you have babies/triplets you feel like you've completely lost yourself. Nothing about yourself seems to matter anymore. Everywhere you go your known as the girl who had triplets, or when your out with friends and they introduce you as "this is the one with triplets" I hate it. I don't know why, you know I am a person, not just a uterus that carried triplets. I feel like I have to do something anything. I'm hoping that going back to school will help with all that mess. Who knows we'll just have to wait and see.
Check back tomorrow for pictures of my big baby going to school =(

another new do

So I had more hair chopped off Saturday. I just wasn't too thrilled with my granny mushroom do before. That's what Delaney called it, so I had to get it redone. Whatcha think?

In other new, due to budget cuts our trips lost their Service Coordinator for all their therapies. SO we have a new one...Not too sure on how to take her just yet. I'm kinda sad we lost Jessica. She was awesome. She would get down and help with the kids and the therapists etc. The new seemed not so interested in anything but the paper work. This is gonna be fun. The kids will now have PT, OT and speech. I swear their falling further behind, I guess their not really. Just developing slower than kids the same age. I guess that's normal when you have triplets born 4 months early.

Speaking of the kids. They are crazy, I'm so convinced they are going to drive me to the crazy house. They seem to hate each other, constantly fighting over toys etc. They love to bite each other when their not getting their way, this is awful! They each need one big padded room to just run and play. For some reason they have decided that they would no longer like to go to bed at 8:30 anymore. They like to push their limits and not go to bed till 10:30. Greg and I have had to let them just cry it out. Ava is the worst, you can rock her to sleep, then when you go to put her in bed she starts screaming and waking up the boys. So she has earned the right to go to bed 1st and scream it out. I'll have more updates next week, after therapy.

This weekend we're (Greg & I) are going to Put In Bay, with his brother and sister in law. I can't wait. 2 nights without any kids. Honestly, I'm not sure I'm going to miss them...I'm such a bad mama. I'm just afraid of coming back and the kids being completely off schedule. Lets hope their good for Grandma & Grandpa.

Delaney has Kindergarten orientation Monday, and testing the week after. I can't believe she's going to school. She's such a big girl.

More updates to come!

Fair

Over the weekend we loaded all 4 and went to the Summit County Fair. I haven't been there in years, we normally go to the Portage County Fair. I now know why. I swear it was a white trash fest. Knocked up 12 yr olds spitting chew and smoking. Oh it was bad. We couldn't even walk though the place without walking through a huge cloud of cigarette smoke. Needless to say we didn't stay long. Just long enough to walk in the barns take a peek at the animals and let Delaney ride a few rides.

First off Ryan came nose to nose with a pig. That pigs nose was the size of Ry's entire face. They were having a stare down and wouldn't take their eyes off each other, they were about 4" away from each other. I couldn't get my camera out because Delaney was freaking out. She thought Ry was gonna get swine flu from sniffing the pig.

Dylan could care less of the whole thing. Ava had a melt down imagine that. With her sensory issues, she gets overwhelmed pretty easy.

Delaney got to ride a pony. During the ride she begged Greg to buy her a horse. (ha ha, keep dreaming baby) She also rode her 1st big girl ride. She has always loved the Ferris wheel, but Greg hates heights so I get to take her. Which is fine by me because I love heights and rides! While we were on the Ferris wheel Delaney saw a ride she just had to ride. It was like the power tower at Cedar Point. It takes you up real high then drops you. I love those rides. So we went. I was however really nervous about Delaney riding it for 2 reasons.
#1 She had to pee, but we were already in line and had waited awhile, so I told her to hold it.
#2 The operator never checked our belts or the harness.
I was reaching over tugging on it, just to make sure she was in. Half way up the ride I realized Delaney could very easily wiggle her way out of the seat if she wanted. That I think was one of the scariest moments of my life. Just the thought made me sick. Well we made it down fine, and she didn't pee, Thank God! I don't think she gets to ride anymore of these for long time. She announced to everyone that the ride was "Totally Awesome" to which I replied, "Totally" I will never tell her I that i was scared Sh*tless!

Delaney riding a horse named Donte.

Believe it or not, Delaney & I are on that thing.

There we are. #11 & 12. Never again, can you see her leaning through that thing?!

sniff sniff sniffle

Well my baby is officially 5. I just can't believe it. She's really 5. She had her Birthday party and Pump It Up in Hartville. Everyone had such a good time, all except for the vinyl burns on their arms, legs, and butt. Yes, Delaney managed to get one of those burns on the bottom of a butt cheek, and she wants to show everyone. Nice huh?!

Delaney got a lot of clothes (thanks) for her birthday, perfect for kindergarten. She also got lots of money can you believe this kid got $70 bucks. I remember just getting as many dollar bills as I was old, not 70 bucks at the age of 5.

This week I took her school shopping, *sniff*. I was crying on the way there. When I looked back at the lil girl singing Taylor Swift songs in the back seat, I then realized that she will only be this age so long, she's growing up. *sniff-sniff* Loosing teeth, turning 5, starting school. I just can't believe the last 5 years have went by so fast. I'm not ready to let go of her yet. I'm not ready to watch her jump on the bus and leave for school. I'm worried about the things she'll pick up from other kids and the things she'll learn. She's so innocent, So good, I'm afraid she'll never be the same. Here I am tears streaming down my face, thinking my baby is going to turn into a monster or something. Truth is I'm just scared of sending her out into the world. Although she is a good kid. I am so very proud of her. I can't wait to she what life has in store for her.....but she'll always be my Lil Laneybug!

I am officially bawling my eyes out.
